I love it. How did you make it to look so creepy and inviting for people who like to be alone? Did you play with levels or curves? Love this shot; fav.

I always play with the curves to varying degrees. As for the mood, I kind of like to be alone myself and have been staking out this shot for over a year now waiting for the right mood and light.

I was surprised that this was taken with a little Canon point-and-shoot. At what focal length did you take each individual shot of the nine total?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

sirgerg In reply to Bucky2K [2008-02-11 18:27:32 +0000 UTC]

I don't think focal length is a setting I can mess with on this little camera, or really that helpful for landscape panoramics (since it almost always calls for the "infinity" setting. That usually provides the best results in regards to sharpness.

Bucky2K In reply to sirgerg [2008-02-12 03:56:52 +0000 UTC]

When I was referring to focal length, I was actually asking how far you zoomed in, not the distance you focused at. Did you take each frame at the widest setting the camera has? Or did you zoom in part way or all of the way?

Sorry for the miscommunication.

sirgerg In reply to Bucky2K [2008-02-12 05:17:21 +0000 UTC]

If I remember correctly, I think I was zoomed in about 20% for all of the individual frames. The pre-composite assembled shots can be seen here: [link]
