PS painting start to finishI wanted to make some different potion bottles. So I started off with some square based ones.
This set is Magic vision or sight, protection or armor enhancement and healing.
Adventurers could never carry around such big bottles.
Other random stuff of interest..

It's been a while since i did these.. but I think it was maybe a few hours to create them.
I wasn't using the same techniques I use now, so the times would be different at the moment.

I'd thought about how they looked but not about how they taste. I guess the stronger the effect the potion has maybe the stronger it tastes. So I suppose they might taste awful.
The green one - I'm thinking it's a mix of super sour and nasty bitter with just a bit too much salt in the taste. It's thick and slimy with odd bits and fibers so it doesn't want to go down easy.
The pink one - I'm thinking maybe super sweet, like disgusting sweet, but with a habanero hot spiciness to it. It's obviously pretty thick too. Kind of like thick conditioner maybe.
The blue one - well, it's a healing potion so it shouldn't be too awful. Maybe it just has the effect of seeming really dry. Like your mouth just feels super dry and all you want is to drink water but it leaves you feeling dry for quite a while after....
I like the idea that using a powerful potion should have some sort of cost to it. I think in RPGs it becomes too easy to just take a potion for whatever you want.
