because I love guys with scarves.found this in my artpad, it's REALLY old, I'm not sure of when I drew it, I just remember that I drew most of it in school.

i especially like his face, how delicate it is, and the smoke in his mouth that he's about to light...it's a really nice touch.

OMG OMG OMG *flips out* this is traditional it looks absolutly stunning, I'm a sucker for your colouring techniques really. I love the arm and the scars...(you draw scars insanely well). The ears and eyes are great!! ehh fave!

scars aren't really that hard, as long as you do them with colored pencil instead of markers :3

Woah 0-0 I could have sworn this was done on the computer. Your ability to colour -that- smoothly just...astounds me. Especially on the hands, the shading looks amazing. I am seriously just blown away by this picture.

well, I kinda mix my techniques... usually I start by coloring with markers, and that's what I've done on his hands as well. the tricky thing with such light colors is the blending. If I have a solid color as a "base", then it's easy to shade it, but I'f the base color is white, it's much harder. so I usually have to use a colorless blender, which usually works very well. then (at least on this one) I go over it with a pencil to add moore shadows, and then make another layer with markers over it, so it blends nicely. and then some touch ups with white colored pencil and white gelpen, which I sometimes smudge with my fingers..
