The first time I conjured Force Lightning was terrifying, it was... a moment of weakness, I wanted desperately to protect my family, but I let hatred and anger get the better of me, and I was scared. Scared that one day I'd lose control of it and burn my friends, just
like I burned my own hands while struggling to control it... Mom says that Force Lightning isn't inherently evil, its what you do with that power which determines it. I know there'll be times when I'll lose control of my emotions, I'm a very emotional person after all, so if I can't control my emotions, I want to at least learn how to control the Lightning, to protect my friends from myself. ~Orchid Shara's journal (Keep out, ESPECALLY you Jae!), reflecting on her ability to conjure Force Lightning.

Yay! New Art! Or rather OLD art that had been lying incomplete for half a year or so, but I liked the general feel of it, so decided to finish it.

Orchid, as many folks know, is a very emotional person, and its thanks to these emotions that Orchid learns to conjure Force Lightning, she first taps into this ability while Galgriev is attacking her loved ones with Fore Lightning, desperate to save them she rushes into his path, trying to repel his Lightning with the Force, Galgriev underestimates Orchid, and ends up drawing out Lightning of her own, Galgriev is burned and forced to retreat, leaving Orchid in a daze. This incident was a shock (pun intended) for everyone, Orchid had barely been able to control it, to the point where her fingers and palms were badly burned, Jaeriel giving her first aid with Bacta soaked bandages.

Conjuring Force Lighting didn't help with Orchid's identity woes, as Force Lightning was heavily associated with the Sith, she began to worry that she was a danger to her friends, however Quinn and Jaeriel assured her that the power itself isn't inherently evil, rather what its used for, and knowing that she'd probably use i again, Jaeriel endeavoured to help her learn how to control it, Jaeriel being skilled at energy manipulation suggests that she'd be the perfect training partner, as if Orchid lost control she could safely disperse it. Over time Orchid is able to learn to control and refine her technique, developing her own style of Kinetite, that takes the form of Lightning Spears, this form of Kinetite would become her signature technique.

Anyhow I've waffled on for long enough, as ever, I hope you all like, feedback is always very much appreciated.
