I don't know much about my people, I was found on Nar Shaddaa, and raised by a Corellian, the only image I have of my people is that of Thrawn, a man who stood for the Empire, the very antithesis of my beliefs...

And here's another of my Star Wars OCs, Orchid Shara, Quinn Shara's unofficially adopted daughter, and later, her Jedi Apprentice too.

Orchid was born in the year 6BBY (BBY = Before the Battle of Yavin), however she has no memory of her parents, nor her real name. Around 2-1BBY, she was discovered by Quinn Shara on the Smuggler's Moon Nar Shaddaa, surviving by stealing, the then nameless Chiss had learned she was able to pull food or credits towards her that were barely out of her reach, this however brought her to the attention of local gangsters wanting to cash in on the Empire's hatred of Jedi, thankfully Quinn intervened in the situation, much to her escort Zai's protests, and after a lengthy confrontation they barely escaped pursuit of Imperial Fighters.

Seeing the fear, loneliness, and sorrow in the young nameless Chiss's eyes Quinn was compelled to protect her, she gave her a name, Orchid, and adopted her, giving Orchid the Shara family name as well. Throughout the Galactic Civil War Quinn always kept Orchid close because of her Force-sensitivity, she always worried that if Orchid was left behind she'd be in even more danger, Quinn also knew how much Orchid depended on her and Zai for companionship and security. After the Battle of Endor Quinn, now confident in her own power, began to train Orchid in the ways of the Jedi.

Orchid would go on to fight in many of the conflicts that plagued the New Republic, along with her adoptive mother and Master, however, their greatest challenge has yet to reveal itself, the merciless onslaught of the Yuuzhan Vong...

Agh... I REALLY love Chiss for some reason, they're just epic! Thrawn especially, he was just simply awesome, a wise leader capable of putting any James Bond villain to shame.

I HAD to make a Chiss OC, just had to. XD

I'm really starting to build a story for these characters... Maybe I should actually run with it, do a comic or something? Who knows. XD

This, by the way, is just another design sketch portrait thingy, so it's kinda sketchy, but I hope ya' like regardless, here she's likely in her late teens or early twenties. ^_^
