Description
The occupants of the apartments come out to celebrate the colorful day. They walk around talking to one another, walking a dog, and appreciating the colorful day. A Digital Painting started with a sketch and watercolor, then scanned and completed using Corel Painter software on a computer attached to a graphic pad with a stylus pen. I cut and pasted some pieces of the original buildings to make room for the stairs and created the man and the dog and then pasted them in. The other people were a part of the original watercolor before I started moving things around. I added texture to some areas. It could be improved upon at some point in the future. Once you understand the layout of the painting, you can go back with that knowledge and recreate it as one sigular operation. I would make it wider as I found it difficult to fit everything in the narrow width of the painting. Maybe then add more people in differnt positions (legs over a fire escape).Tap twice on the painting to enlarge and see the details. Ciao.
