Very cute! I love the idea!
One thing to think about would be to make the ladybug's shell a little smoother and the background a little bit blurrier. You're already doing that, but pushing the smoothness and blurriness (essentially atmospheric perspective) a bit more would make the image stronger.

It's one of the options on the some drop down as hue, I think, but it's pretty hard to use sometimes because of the format of RGB pictures.
