Hi there!I have made this small sort-of tutorial, or collection of small tips into drawing gelflings, the race of small fairylike humanoids from The Dark Crystal, ( (c) Jim Henson and Brian Froud)
I hope this tiny thing will be useful for some friends who recently asked me whetehr I could do a small helping guide into drawing and anatomy details for this race!

You know for a minute I thought from the left you had sneaked in a tutorial about how to draw Gollum's head and face. But of course it's all gelfling.

SIPI!...Se parecen a duendecillos del tipo de los pixies o los brownies, aunque menos peludos y con Β orejas mas...pues mas... "arratonadas?"...sus orejas me recuerdan a las de los ratoncillos campestres por su ubicacion en la cabeza y su forma... XD

I do all I can to explain myself well, thogh I have a serious problem with getting to the point with stuff!...I tend to diverge and talk my head off!!!
These tutorials are helping me into condensing the info in shirter paragraphs so I don't bore peoplr with it as they try to get what i did to get the drawing done

I have one done buts its only in pencil, I want the gelfling sketches to be slightly closer in that they are more portrait like so you can see all the clothing detail as each gelfling wears very key clothing in terms of character including Jen and Kira. One thing I loved about the Legends of DC was that the artist didn't have a single male and female gelfling looking the same (Every character felt singular) Myths though its great reading makes all gelfling look slightly to generic in that they all have the same hair styles and all remind you of Kira/Jen so I want to follow Legends idea of making each have a separate personality portrayed through their clothing. Β

SkekLa: well, of course!...The Gourmand wouldn't lend me his Β gelfling, the Ornamentalist drives his own one crazy with sewing, embroidering and whatnot and never lets her out...and the others would never let me have theirs...therefore...

SkekLa: *giggling* I thank you for it, Mylord!...It will always be good having yout Tari around! being close to my Schpsi, they both seem content and eager to obey!...Apparently gelflings have deep brotherly bonds...and remaining close to their brothers makes them more happy and docile...hmm...I wouldn't mind keeping him there and then, whenever you feel he is a loss of space within your chambers!...^^
