#1/Halloween: Scratch, Grounder, Coconuts and Snively - Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog/Sonic "SatAM"

Well folks, it's been a great month for chills, thrills and fulfillment. I believe my Ode to Minions went off without a hitch and gave justice to all those perpetually downtrodden and often overlooked flunkies in the world. But in the end, this is a countdown and there can be only one winner, and when it comes to minions the choice for the number 1 slot was a no brainer for me... and honestly, if you didn't predict this year's outcome, you're a fool!

So, without further ado, getting the honorary rank of #1. This year's winner of the Halloween Countdown: Ode to Minions is Scratch, Grounder, Coconuts and Snively of the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons. Why all four? Because I cannot discount ANY of these characters. Though I personally loathe the SatAM version of Sonic with a burning passion, I adored the character of Snively, and while the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog make me giggle like a small girl, I always wished that Snively was added in, just to make the quartet complete.

Though a great villain in his own right, and one of my personal favorites, Dr. Robotnik is a character that NEEDS flunkies under him, to add to his roguish charm and though he has had several minions, these 4 will forever be his best. Scratch and Grounder were always a hilarious duo, Coconuts was a funny foil constantly striving to be the best but never a constant burden to the heroes and Snively was just such a great little worm for Robotnik to boss around. I loved these characters from the second I saw them and much like the characters of Team Rocket they often were the only reason to watch the show!

Snooping as usual, these... these nincombots; These metal morons! That needle nose! Those duncebots! The metallic rejects! The one-chip wonders, meddling microbrains, those nincombots will forever be the greatest minions of all time in my opinion! So, that's it everyone. I hope you enjoyed.
