Here the face looks a little like a hyena, but in the last few pictures it seemed like the fake face would flip up like a trapdoor.
Was this intentional? Do the features meld into this during the transformation?

Yeah, I guess the teeth would extend out once the mouth opened, allowing her to hide it better. It was a bit weird figuring out how I wanted the mouth under a fake face idea to work, so it probably does look a bit funky haha

It still works though. Especially if they never go back to the unprovoked stage.

I may re-draw a more polished character sheet for some of these monsters one day to make the designs more solid and consistent
