Quick little digital doodle of my face-changing magician guy Umbra.Although labelling him as "djinn" I still don't know what he exactly is. He's something I didn't find out yet - and though the mythology around djinn and co. is more than fascinating and complex I think I'm limiting him (and myself) by sticking too much to that label.

I like how your minimalistic art like this paints a general picture of what it's supposed to portray, but leaves a lot of details for the onlooker to imagine. (:

Abrupter Themenwechsel, kennst du den Djinn aus Cornelia Funkes "Drachenreiter"? Der mit den tausend Augen? Vielleicht hat deiner statt tausend Augen tausend Erscheinungen.

Drachenreiter steht immer noch auf meiner "Muss ich noch lesen"-Liste. Der tausendäugige Djinn ist ein weiterer Anreiz!
