Description
Final assignment for acrylic class, with the theme 'Movie Poster', and I up and did Phantom of the Opera --- because I love the story and especially is enthralled with their theme song (no I'm not that old, but still.)Went through a series of misfortune with the canvas (there's a whole saga I wish to forget), and from the whole session, I learnt that 1) canvas affects your painting quality and 2) cheap brushes die fast, but using the wrong technique will make them die faster =w=; (2 brushes died, including the pretty costly sable brush....)
I am only too glad to even finish this painting in time after Kin Sun saw my first horrid tracing on cheap canvas...but I really used up that 1-week extension to make a better job, and here it is
So....'bye acrylic, it's been fun knowing you, and see you next time --- I'll be messing with gesso-ed drawings next!
*Mini-update*
Thanks very much to for adding it to the group gallery!
