Description
The multitudes had finally given up the wait and returned to their usual posts. They'd waited patiently for the prophesied return...In their anxious impatience they doddled away time by building waiting posts with a bit more comfort and protection so that they'd be sure not to miss the momentous event.
And they waited.
Until, it became clear they'd all been duped and the long-awaited return was not to be.

A stunning photo that makes me think of a picnic at the edge of the world complete with those majestic and imposing clouds that threaten to overtake the dunes and this scene.

This is just mindblowing scenery! I know the objects are nice and all and fit the composure, but AHH! I want to see the scenery itself with those godly clouds. I believe a bigger size would be more impacting, would love to see one if you took a landscape shot as well.
BTW Im loving the new photos, "just some tasty color"

Thanks! I've got some with just dunes and these clouds.. but I really liked the abandoned little picnic pods included... gave it more of an "end of the world" kinda vibe. Glad you dig.

Great shot. I love the idea/concept you have associated with this. The way those little benches are set up with that weird thing over them suggest something of mystery. Plus the way they are set up is so precise and thought out, very cult like suggestion.
Also it is great that you have the reflection of the sky in the water, it shows that these people, what ever they are waiting for, are turning their eyes and attention up towards the sky. Very imaginative.

The texture of the clouds and of the mountains, the repetition of the two colors in peculiar tones, the repetition of the clouds in the water, the repetition of the seat, everything that forms an impacting and very beautiful composition. A true painting.
