A redo photo shoot of bear, why? because he deserved it. Poor Bear just had the rushed shoot where I used that awful sheet but this one is a little better. I have now mounted him on a base that i might put some grass and dirt on, like they do for 40K.

Alpha Project: First experiment for the BEAR-U
Primary Function: Trench and tunnel tactical warfare

The outcome of the experiment is a large mammal that resembles a bear in structure and stands only slightly taller than a grizzly bear. The attitude had been expressed similar to that of a badger, the claws forming the same as a badger to allow the burrowing and tunneling processes to be the most efficient. The quills that have formed on the back of the Alpha experiment seem to detach without giving any pain or harm to the weapon in any shape or form. The quills also seem to grow back stronger than the ones before. The diamond hard scales from the pangolin seem to make up for the lack of defensive armor, the fur from the badger helps but didn’t provide a bullet proof like covering. The scales seem to shed but as the scales return they also seem to become thicker and harder than the ones before. The venom provides a great attacking agent for the Alpha project. As the enemy is bitten the experiment releases a neurotoxin based venom that will render a human lifeless in 45 minutes.

Undesirable features have also come in conclusion that will be bred out in the other experiments for the BEAR-U project. The masking of the badger, t he whiteness in his face seems to cause a reflection when light is shone on him. This may possibly temporary disable his nocturnal vision as well as give off a position due to reflection in a heavy lighted camp site making the stealth physically near impossible. The other effect was the snake like tail. Although with later models it may prove to be useful at this time it is useless. The structure of the animal does not allow it to be able to use it as a weapon and because its scales are like that of snakes more than the genetically enhanced pangolin scales the tail could be observed as a potential weakness.
