Description
What We Did. Illustration by Jay Lynch. From 1968-1973 Robert Crumb, Jay Lynch and I produced hallmarks in the history of comics with Zap and Bijou # 1-8. After that we were crushed under the hobnail boot of American politics. But it was too late. Our influence was viral throughout the culture. From the Simpsons to South Park. In the haughtiest fine art galleries --from the Louvre to the Tate Modern. We were the original deviant artists. Learn from history, children.
