broadcast heartbeats
rhythmically rowing
out across the sea of space-time
searching, a wandering signal
worming its way through stormy waters
this is an important message we bring you today

I went into this as a pure experiment, letting it develop as I went along. I didn't have a clear picture of where it would end up, which is unusual for me- usually I know where a piece is heading before I even put pencil to paper. Thus, I'm not happy or sad with this one. I'm kind of neutral. [Pffft! I just remembered the original idea I had for this one...but it changed quite a bit....look at the WIP below!]
I've been working through my large stack of digital WIPs whenever I've been able to grab a moment or two this past week. Regular commissions will be open again later this week, if everything goes well.

i love whats going on,
the wolf standing there on the water, and the idea of the transmition mixing with he water movement is neat, just for that is a great piece and deserves to be admired.
The things that could be done better are all about technique, art fundamentals, the colors gets too much saturated, you need to combine saturation with no saturation to let it breath a bit, just a matter of studying more color, masters and real life, that would bring this work to even a higher level e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

same goes for composition, it s abt unbalanced, the left witht he right side, the eye doesnt travel through the image too much, gets stucked on the right side, a great way to learn about this is studying masters, just look at their stuff and try to see if your pieces could benefit from their pieces.
hope it helps, keep it up!

This really makes me want to write a piece of music to go with it.
