Atlas looked to the red star, his gaze wary. His cousin, Pandora, stood beside him under the red star's eerie light.
"This is Hannibal's doing. His very gaze is a blight upon this world." Atlas's voice was even, yet the anger behind his words was tangible. Beside him, Pandora shifted her weight on her feet. She couldn't find it within herself to disagree nor agree with his statement. She was confused by his confidence in Hannibal's doing with the star and worried that maybe his upbringing had made him biased. Against what, she couldn't quite comprehend.
"Perhaps," She spoke slowly to let her words drop with weight upon his ears. "It isn't Hannibal. Our world is changing, and I keep having this feeling that maybe it isn't inside of Highlord Aether's control, nor Highlordess Ares. I don't feel as if Lowlord Hannibal could have done this either. Have you considered that maybe this is some outside force?"
Atlas snorted and shook his head. He looked to Pandora, his gaze full of concern. She was the only being in this world that could ellict concern from him, and she had done it. "I have trust in Aether. He will not mislead us. Do you not feel the same?"
Pandora turned away from him, choosing not to answer. She moved her head down and lifted her eyes up to the red star. What ominous message could it bring? She worried for the future of her kind, and for those she loved.
"Our world is changing, and I fear what it brings."
