UPDATE 2: Touched up the bottom half of the ethereal form's design. Something was wrong but the changes turned out to be rather minor in the end.

UPDATE: Info box time! A slightly fixed-up version of his regular form is also here now.

Aside from the other half-gods, I don't think there's a single soul in the existing canon (at least, alive today) who has seen Kajo's ethereal form. Unlike Verno he doesn't have the ambition or interest to flaunt his powers in anyone's face. He's not humble, but I think he enjoys the appearance of humility to evade the responsibility that he innately feels due to his origin.

The design's stark contrast to how Kajo dresses in his normal form highlights his urge to obscure what he really is and what he's capable of. I've always known he lies about what he is even if directly asked so there's also that. I can see why Verno would find that... contemptible. He already thinks Kajo is keeping suspiciously low profile since they haven't ran into each other in forever.
