Description
A new year, a new pack. My 8th pack uses the new features of AVS2.8 to create in my opinion amazing effects in 28 AVS presets. A lot of the presets also have interactive options. Go to the left top corner of your AVS screen. Text pops up? You've got yourself a interactive preset. Click the buttons to enable the different interactivity modes.Enjoy!

Jeepers! How did i miss this one? I really need to visit deviantart more often. Really liked the 3D timescope, amazing stuff. The Dual Flow preset is also amazing, great colours and motion. The Revenge of Mt. Doom... etc... really great pack overall, lots of style and some really clever tricks and interesting shapes combine into some excellent visuals.

This pack is showing power of AVS 1.8, but I'm wondering why you didn't included here such a great presets like angelic orifice and female demands?

I was definetly suprised when explored this pack; I thought that not much new could be done in AVS but you definetly proved me wrong. You've used the new avs effects well, though I agree with some ppl that some of the mouse-doable settings are unnecessary.

-archers train faster (good design + very stylish)
-nuendo (very neat but oh-so-slow

Well, absolutely great pack. Seems that the new AVS 2.8 has endless abilities.
Liked Dual Flow very much, Gace is nice too, like color control in Underscore, cool 3D in Discotheque, the fav is Aetherial Flow, Driving II is the next step to the real-things-recreated-in-avs-technique.
All interactove presets are cool. I give this pack a fav.
I was dead on the past few months. I think I'll do some AVS now (GHz v2.0 HAS to be finished).

Strangely enough, i usually like your flow presets very much, but with this pack they were, well boring. They looked good, but they were a bit boring to watch.
On the otherhand i loved the other stuff you have in here, like bijoux, revenge of mt.doom and timescope to the third. All wonderful ideas and very cool designs.
And then the extras... well i might be the first one to complain about them, but i really didn't find em that special. Sure they are technically a + but the idea you have in some of them just doesn't work (mouse rotation? naah... color selection? don't think so...) why i complain about these extras is the fact that some of them consume a lot of fps away from the preset and makes them less attractive. If i can get even 1fps more by removing them, i will, but here is the part where it gets interesting: what if the user doesn't know how to remove them? They still drain the fps even though he/she doesn't want them.
Anyway, this pack is well worth the

I cant get my interactive things to work. I have WA5 installed. I heard that comes with AVS 2.8, so that may be my problem if that is false.

Ok, can you check your AVS version for me? What version number does it say when you click help->about in the editor?
It's true that AVS2.8 comes with Winamp5. Not all presets are interactive, but if you go in for example 'bijoux' to the left top corner of your avs-screen, some text should pop up. Click on mouse 1 to enable mouse interactive mode, etc. How the interactive modes work can be read in the comment.

Most of the APE are integrated and the rest was packed with the installer. I assume you know how to open an AVS preset and such? Right-click on the AVS-window, go to the preset directory and click the preset you want. If you do know, I suggest you try the AVS Troubleshooting on the Winamp Forums . I'll be there as well.

Great variety of styles and approaches. I especially enjoy all the interactive extras you put in. It really makes you want to go in & play around. Only negative thing I have to say is that the FPS are a bit low. & of course I understand that's part of your 'style' or whatever, but you could have had at least a couple presets that could be viewed in fullscreen. Otherwise, stellar work, I'm sure this will be one of those million d/l's on winamp.

Wow, amazing pack, new AVS realy gives a lot of power!
I think my fav is gace, it looks very organic and spooky
I watched it for whole 4 minutes and 49 seconds before I could switch to the next one. Great DM and colors!
I also liked "as light as your life" a lot. Simple an effective
"numeric dj's mixing your sound" has very cool DM and colors too!

amazing pack, technically and aesthetically, that's something i have always admired from your work and you continue to do it really really good.
some favs: dual flow (nice idea and look), counseling (cool response and effective background effects), if not (glad i could inspire something like this, i love it), gace (cool colors and shapes), the revenge of mt. doom (just what you said, stylish and fast), as light as your life (smooth, simple and responsive, love it), driving ii (really nice scopes here).
loved the interactivity idea as well, i think that's one of the best uses of the mouse features since 'don't trip and drive' by unconed.

intro - nice colors & nice mirroring, ok thing, after all it's just a intro
bijoux - really nice preset, i love it, most of because it has such a simple vibe to it, and the controls are cool, i really like you made thos color controls, fav #1
dual flow - the colors are nice,, the blue & the fire-y colors go very well together, the flow is also nice, i like the layering also, gives the preset a nice vibe, i like it
counseling - the scopes are ok, but i kinda like the bg even more actually
alpha ray damage - ok, i like the effect but the preset is boring, plus those colors are very ugly, they look very sunburned and imo takes some of thee appeal of this preset
dance of the seraphim - i like the alphacross , cool that you made it run so smooth as well, also the particles are nice,
archers train faster - nice preset, very nice, i like the bending and the colors and the layering, just awesome, fav #2
when it leaves you - hmmm, ok, moving on
on the faders - i like this one, the tiles are nice made, and the fire effect is of the grid is cool, but i like dualing the layer is a bit overkill
if not - 
t tauri - nice preset, i like the colors and the movement and that centerpiece is really nice, cool wit the transparancies
visucube - ok, i will not say it's ugly, but i have to, i think this has potential but it should have been left out
numeric dj's mixing your sound - see, now you giving me the goods, neon & nice movement, really nice, but you really should have removed those circular lines, they are kinda ugly
gace - ok, first of all, fav #4, this is some nice stuff, the fractaling & the colors are really nice,
the rise of the phoenix ii - cool tunnel, i like effect, but i can't say more that that
bent in one/two direction(s) - nice interludes, i like thes very much, fav #5
nuendo - yeah, sure the metaball effect is cool, but no i don't like this one, too slow and to ugly colors
the revenge of mt. doom - now this is a nice thing, i love it, the only thing i can complain about is the gradient background that gives off some ugly things but this is still very nice
ashes to ashes - cool, it has like a train-y feel with the the the two light bars emerging and then splitting and also the colors are nice, fav #6
underscore - it's nice, but goddamn how slow it is when it is in auto mode, but the effect is really cool, nice done
some of kind of kink ii - nice response and nice effect, really nice done
timescope to the third - cool, realy cool, did i say how cool it was, but it's a nice effect and really nicely done, fav #7
discotheque - nice, the glowy sparkles is nice and the disco effect is also nice done,
as light as your life - it's nice & responsive but i think it's lacks something
aetherial flow - actually i have to disagree on this one, i don't like colors on this one, but the effect is still nice
driving ii - nice effect, the car looks way better in wireframe, and the camera work is nice, i love it
istylized - i like it, nice & stylish, i'd just let it go on auto andd look at it, the mouse control is still cool tho, fav #8
recovering from fate - nice done, the particles and the filtering is really nice done, i love it, fav #9
all-n-all, this is a great pack that really disserves the dd, and cant say much more that,

Yes, using Winamp5 is easiest way. You can also get the AVS2.81b .dll from the winamp forums and copy that to your Winamp2 plugins folder.
