Awesome! You captured this scene perfectly. I've seen this so many times in Tokyo. Of course, not this exactly, but an alley with parked bicycles, air conditioning units, and a patch of sunlight steaming in.

I based the painting off of a photograph I took in Ueno, Ameyoko. I've seen your work on dA, you've definitely been there. 
Although I did go crazy manipulating it, the reference remained what it was.

You are right, I have been to Ueno many times. You did an excellent job capturing the mood of these little nooks in Tokyo.
