Thanks! xD I used to use something like strawberry syrup to see what it would look like... yes, I dipped my fingers in it. XD but I did that AFTER I drew it to see how close it was... is was OK-ish but I liked it the the way it is. but it was unbelievably messy so I might not do it again...maybe you could just study pictures of it and don't make the mistake of using default red, blood is always darker if not brownish.

It is terribly messy XD but it's better then getting real blood on your hands!
