Description I first met Rusty Haller in the dealer room of Furfright 2007. He had a table a few spaces down from me. He was a nice guy and unparalleled in his draftsmanship. He was a good friend too.

Rusty was on here at DA as

He was a comics professional since 1987. In addition to his own independent series known as Ace and Queenie, he was well known for the comics he did with licensed characters such as the Flintstones, Uncle Scrooge and Deputy Dawg.

On Sept. 30, 2009, Rusty Haller passed away. I only found this out when I returned that night from my illustration class.

Sam and her friend (who shares the same moniker) pay their respects to Rusty. This is my way of saying goodbye to my friend. I'll miss you, Rusty.

I was so looking forward to seeing him at connecticon last year, it wasn't until almost Christmas I found out what happened.

What the heck, how come I didn't know what happened to ~Rustyoons? I thought all is well, but only recently when I am checking with my DA list, did I find out about this demise too late. May him find a better place, all the best!

I don't know the exact cause, but I was told it had to do with complications with diabetes. Rusty had it for some time and was undiagnosed.
