Father of the music-loving perfectionist, Blaster, Perceptor is self-trained to deal with imperfections as he is the Autobot's top scientist. He even took it upon himself to outfit Omega/Supreme with the weapons she has. He also aided Groundspike with his Recoder device Arielis (named after the famous fembot philosopher Ariel) But his job does not limit his abilities. He is also a great entertainer for children, and like Wheeljack, he will push himself to the limit to make them happy. In fact, the joy of such youngsters gives him the energy he needs to fight the Decepticons. In fact, on the rare occasion that Perceptor is placed in combat, no Con, ground or aerial, is safe from his self-constructed "Mayday" cannon, which can at the very least leave a great amount of damage on any Decepticon. And if that doesn't get them to shape up, Perceptor's hands can become tools of destruction as well as creation, especially when he uses his Chop of ScienceHis current cuddly appearance isn't always what he had. In the past, he was so undoubtedly terrifying, no child could even look at him. So he asked a young[er] Groundspike (He's still pretty young) to use the prototype of Arielis to completely reshape him into a more pleasant form. He uses this to his advantage and enjoys his much more cheerful look and personality.

The cuddly scientist Perceptor is based off of the absolutely hilarious, and badass skeleton dude, Lord Death. This is probably my least detailed design, but considering the base character, I added a ton of detail. I even came up with a way to make his lower body look logical by making it into a propulsion laser. Pretty cool, eh?
