Description Yes, from Life Force. Not from Salamander, from Life Force. "Why?". Because in Salamander it wasn't presented in rom data. If this game has unused music so why not graphics? So anyway, i found it on title screen only, because emulator couldn't read the rest of graphics correctly. The color pallete has been changed a little, because of color fitting. I think it was supposed to be shown in midpoint, but there wasn't much emty space left to fit below the title.

This is quite interesting. They're not perfectly alike in shape, but at a quick glance they almost look like palette swaps, and that's the only reason I can think of as to why Vic Viper wouldn't have forks on it. Even if that were the case, Vic Viper would probably be the base sprite, and Lord British would be given the same shape (see: NES game.)Β

They're more than just swaps though, so it still begs the question: What happened to the Vic Viper's forks?Β

Well, in every Gradius and Salamander game, Vic Viper is a different model. Like in Castlevania trilogy, you think that you're playing as Simon in that whole time, but you don't. Anyway, later on I told CuttingRoomFloor about this graphics and they uploaded this with better quality.

True, but every model has the large forks on both sides of the nose, and here they look missing. :/ Β  Heck, I think some of the games show that Vic is a special model among whole squadrons of vipers that all have that going on. These are some beautiful graphics all the same, it's just a little odd that Vic Viper and Lord British are more than palette swaps but have the same basic shape. *shrugs*
