Don’t feel guilty! There’s actually several good reasons not to price things too low regarding art, though I’m not too sure for adoptables, but still it’s something you’ve put your time and energy into so I don’t think you should feel guilty if it’s too high, though it is good to see what people are willing to pay XD

Honestly, I would pay pretty much any sum of money that you might ask for your designs, heh. The same goes for your commissions. Have you ever met someone who had a style that you would basically kill for? That is pretty much how it is. (Not just because you are a friend, mind you.)

Alright, so I am currently looking at Brothers Bond and Baby Nexy because they are some of my newer favorites. There is a lot of... personality, I'd say; both the poses and expressions communicate something about the characters, which goes a long way toward making the piece interesting. A pretty picture can only go so far if it doesn't have personality, you know? Even though you have so many characters, you give them a lot of love, and it shows when you draw them.
My next point would probably be the character designs. Oftentimes, that comes down to personal preference, but that is what we are talking about anyway. I love your use of color, and I think Nexus's design is a good example. He has a very dark color scheme, and sometimes too many dark colors in one place look dreary or conflicting, but Nexus actually looks very nice, and the bright little accents like the necklace, the bracelet, and the wrappings around his right leg only serve to improve the appearance. You seem to have a good sense of when it would be beneficial to add a pattern or accessory to keep designs from looking plain, and they aren't just the same patterns and accessories being reused, so the designs all seem very unique.
Then there is the art itself. This is the most difficult part to explain, but looking at your art style just makes me happy. The lines are smooth and soft, and the way you color adds a lot of life to everything. You also pay attention to textures in clothing, hair, and fur. It very much looks like you put great effort into everything you do.
Giovanni can hug anybody he wants. Anybody. We cannot have him get left behind under any circumstances.

Idk- I use the things around me as examples- like now days you don’t usually see plain clothing, so I just experiment till I find what looks right, or things that would add to a characters likes or past story-

Not everyone can do that sort of thing, y'know. For example, I lack the creative eye that would allow for successful experimentation. It is still impressive that you have that skill and are able to apply it so effectively.

It's... a work in progress. I am rarely happy with my designs, but I'll be keeping at it because creating characters is just such a comforting process. It remains to be seen whether I will live up to your belief, though. XD

That is reassuring, although of course I would not wish that feeling upon you. It seems like it is just very difficult for creators to be entirely happy with what they produce, which I suppose is not always a bad thing as long as the dissatisfaction does not become too overwhelming.
You absolutely do not need to have an answer since I am kind of putting you on the spot here, but do you have any design tips that I should follow? I'm working on using more references for inspiration so things don't become too repetitive, but that is about it so far.
Kellan can be his social crutch until he finds at least a couple of others he feels comfortable around. At least when all else fails he has the demonic servants who are obligated to pay attention to him. XD
I had a dumb drawing idea that I'm going to try to sketch out when the professor stops staring me down. I love teasing grumpy, intimidating, powerful characters, though I still very much respect how awful Zemor's past is and the fact that it isn't all fun and games. It's fun to take both approaches at times, haha.

For clothes sometimes I myself get a bit.. stuck- but I look up the main personality type of the character and clothing types for that- or just go around looking st millions of outfits till I find one that fits, maybe change to the colours to match the colour pallet- maybe add things to hint at what they like- or like- injuries they have, maybe scars from removed facial piercings? Hairstyles are hard XD especially when it’s curly hair being forced into odd positions-
Um- that’s just me tho-
Who am I to talk xD I have 2 more vampire boys to draw, Eckeress and Dawson, then their ‘friend’ Wesley who is a lazy bastard who eats instant noodles but also has this ‘teleportation’ like ability which is pretty much just dematerializaion and rematirializing himself in other places-

I... don't know how I didn't think to just look up outfits based on personality types. That sounds like a much better place to start, and starting is always my issue. But yeah, hair is hard, damn it. There are only so many ways to wear hair before you start venturing into the frightening anime hairstyle zone.

They are still fun to design, though. You can just... stick spikes wherever you want, which is kind of freeing, honestly. But boy, I don't know which is harder, trying to design a character based on one detail or starting entirely from scratch.
Hmmmm... lazy clothes. Too big for him, maybe a little uneven. Messy hair? I'm trying to think of something that could tie in with the ability...
Where to start...? I've got the escort boi Alois in Toyhou.se I worry about what people think of him, but I really wanted to do something like that. There's a space mom who is trying to figure out how humans work and has very mixed feelings about human fast food. XD There's the brand new demon bab who was framed for an assassination attempt and stripped of a lot of his demon powers and is now trying to figure out how to live as... well, not a demon.
