Description
Kantonian Barboach have adapted to the overpopulated waterways near the Power Plant on route 10 by becoming a Dark/Electric type, they can take on most species in this river with a quick 1000-volt charge.

Day 1 of Region'ovember consists of making a variant evolved to live in the Kanto region and the random pokemon generator gave me Barboach. Most of its dex entries tell of its radar like ability to hunt, so I decided to expand on that, but where to put it? Kanto is brimming with water types so I was thinking it'd capitalize on that giving it the electric type (it doesn't hurt that it has a yellow shiny). Another source of inspiration comes from Whiscash's inspiration of Namazu, which is a giant mythological catfish said to cause earthquakes, so I decided to make the Kantonian line based around another natural disaster, thunderstorms.
