Update: Alright, so I was getting a really nasty glare on the photo which distorted the colors, so I took a new shot and I think that fixed it. Let me know what you think, please!

As most of my watchers know, I'm leaving for Brazil as part of a student exchange program for my senior year in high school. This year, my junior year, is the last opertunity I will have to see my friends, because once I return from Brazil I'm going straight off to college. This is my going-away present to my dear, amazing friend, Alyss. I hope she likes it.

This is a COMPLETELY abnormal style for me. I don't think I've ever done something like this, and it's been about 3 years since I've even picked up a colored pencil, so I'm not sure how it turned out. What do you think?

The steps and materials used to create this.
1. pencil outline (ticondergoa #2 and Mechanical pencil .007)
2. darken outline with sharpie (fine tip black sharpie)
3. color sun (colored pencil)
4. draw "sublime" (pencil)
5. darken "sublime" (regular black sharpie)
6. color backround (regular purple sharpie)
7. not visable here Add gleam (sheen) to background (metallic marker)
8. color "sublime" (colored pencil)

As you can see, a lot of work went into this. It took about 7 hours to get everything drawn, outlined, colored, ect.
Please let me know how I did. I'm really quite curious to know what you think of it.
