It was one of the moments where I genuinely found it unsettling (some of the others being the woman from the painting and the rotting Georgie ventriloquist dummy). In the scenes where there's no direct jump scare, Bill Skarsgard did an excellent job, making him quite sadistically humourous (the whole "Time to flat" scene).

They nailed it, I think, and apparently Chapter 2 will ramp it up! They're going to have to, because that part of the book is much lighter on scares for the Losers as It sees them as 'too old' to stop him.

Ohh boy, I was kinda 'persuaded' by my friends to see chapter 1. I'll just take your word for it on chapter 2, I am WEAK on scary movies.

I agree I personally really like when he came out of the refrigerator and did that creepy walk sequence.
