There's still good in him...What if vader didn't die at the end of ep. 6? Or what if he turned against the emperor and went back to his roots?

Look up Star Wars Infinities, and Redeemed Vader. He did redeemed himself, joined the Alliance, and is in white armor. It looks epic. Great job

There was once an issue of Star Wars Tales (now defunct comic book) that addressed this.
I like your version better. Here he looks like a Jedi. Not the white version of the Vader suit.

I imagine that if Anakin didn't die after his redemption in Episode 6, I imagine that he would surrender to the Rebel Alliance. I also imagine that almost everyone in the Alliance would be conflicted about what to do with him. I'm sure many members (nay, MAJORITY) would want him to be executed for what he did as Vader.
At the same time, there would probably be some that would grant him amnesty and also see him as a very powerful asset and ally to the Alliance (remember, the Empire was lost, not fallen, even after the loss of Emperor Palpatine and Vader). I believe that if they wanted to execute him, Luke would come to his defense. He would probably take full responsibility for whatever Anakin does that would be out of line with the Alliance.
Overtime, I could see Anakin slowly beginning to gain the trust of many Alliance members. Also, with Luke becoming a powerful Jedi himself, the Force would definitely be stronger with the Alliance, with two of the most powerful Force-sensitives the galaxy has ever seen on their side. Why have only one Skywalker when you can have TWO? The Alliance would be damn-near unstoppable with the combined efforts of Anakin's knowledge of Imperial protocol and military tactics with Luke's own piloting and leadership capabilities.
Not to mention that in the case of rebuilding the Jedi Order, Anakin would be a Master alongside Luke, teaching several students in many lightsaber combat forms and Force techniques. He would even take Ben Solo as an apprentice. I would imagine that with Ben under his wing, Anakin would be able to teach him how to use his anger in a more positive way. Who knows? Ben might even be deemed a Knight at a very young age like Anakin did.

I'd totally see that happening. Also at the beggining, I'd see leia as the first to disagree with Vader's entrance in the rebel alliance and Luke being the one that wants it the most, creating an interesting dynamic between the family members...

Yea. I imagine that for Anakin to get Leia's trust and love, he would have to do something incredibly selfless in her presence. It probably would have to be something that would involve her life being in danger.
Also, I think that Leia wouldn't be angry enough to put him to death, but she would have a lot of reasons to stay away from him. I imagine he would do her the honor of staying away from her, but she would probably be curious about why it was that he turned.
