I can give you an idea.
After another defeat against Mario, Bowser decided to take a vacation and go to the picnic with his family. Minions brought a lot of stuff, because they knew that Bowser could eat everything with a single bite. Bowser was the hero of Koopalings in eating stuff, so they thought that nobody is much for him at that.
Until all the food suddenly gone. It was Kirby, swallowing all the food. Bowser became mad and decided to punch Kirby, but he was such a little, cute creature who was lying on the grass with a happy smile. Bowser's soft side took best on him, and Koopalings were kinda impressed.
Then Bowser got a better idea. He asked his minions to bring more food, and then he challenged Kirby to an eating contest. Bowser opened his mouth widely and started to eat food as fast as he could. Kirby used his swallowing instead, but a giant piece of baked meat stuck in his mouth. Bowser grabbed that meat to finish it off, but Kirby suddenly swallowed it along with him. Bowser was like: "WTF?", and Kirby had to spit him out. They both looked around, and the only thing they saw was an empty tablecloth. Bowser and kirby looked at each other and laughed.

Oh man... I'm sorry, but actually I've come up with an idea for a short already... But yours does sound quite interesting, and I might have to give it a go... But to a lesser extent, since I do not think my computer could handle so much going on.
