My entry for the Devious Desktops competition. Going for a tropical beach feeling here and tried to stick with a "interesting object but space to put your icons" composition and overall I think I did an ok job. Also gave me an excuse to try a few new things in c4d and octane with a defined brief, which was nice. Really liking the making frosted glass textures in octane.

Also included a clay render version as people who saw the WIP version seemed to quite enjoy this colour scheme as well (although it fits the competition theme less):
