Part of the Thousand Lights comic, set after the events of Cruel Fate.
Twilight's costume is enchanted to change her appearance (turns her hair and eyes white).
Rainbow's costume is a Wonderbolt power suit, designed to to enhance the physical limits of the wearer.

Remember that, in the Thousand Lights universe, a super vigilante is, by definition, a criminal. It doesn't matter if all Twi does is help people, she's a criminal and subject to arrest for breaking a string of laws.

Are you somehow implying that this is an actual written story somewhere? Β Like I can just find "Thousand Lights" on FIMfiction or FanFiction.net or whatever and read full chapters about the adventures of SuperTwi and others in this particular AU? Β I thought the dude was only releasing these kind of things in brief comic pages. Β

I'm just drawing a conclusion from the existing revealed storyline:
1) Humans found super-beings (the 'Magi') threatening enough that they waged a war of genocide against them leaving them on the brink of extinction;
2) Although the genocidal policy has vanished with time, Magi are still considered dangerous enough that they are routinely interned and if they object forcibly enough, the authorities may unbend enough to allow them to live under effective house arrest with an agent living with them 24/7;
3) There is no indication that Twilight did anything except show off her powers to get the CPD to try to arrest her.
Overall, I'd say that Twilight is lucky she didn't have the army and air force trying to kill her, given how xenophobic society is towards the Magi.

Hypothetically yes. However, if the magic user in question is knocking on the door of omega-level (being a demigod in power levels)? Add on that a person driving said power armour whose two main characteristics are arrogance and overconfidence? Then you're looking at huge property damage levels and a very, very bruised ego on the part of a certain cop...
And she thinks the anarchist with the white hair is cute.

I mean we see the superheroes kiss women left and right in their outfits in the comics and movies so why shouldn't Twi and RD do so too? I could especially RD see be very popular with her female fans. XD

Well, the idea would be that they're enemies in their costumed identities and lovers in their civilian identities like Batman and Catwoman were in the last movie (and are in various incarnations of the comics, of course) and wouldn't realize it until later. Granted, that kind of thing tends to spill over into their costumed lives, it seems, so they'd probably end up making out in costume, too, while feeling all guilty because (they think) they're cheating on their respective GFs or something.
Of course, it'll probably end up more in the friendshipping zone, since I don't know how adventurous Dogz is on that kind of thing.

Hm, lovers wouldn't quite work though in this case, I think. Twi gonna have trust issues after her entire family being murdered, after all, somebody must have told them about the Sparkle family having a particular magical strong daugther. And RD is too hang up over getting/being popular and being the best Wonderbolt ever, a lover would cut too much time for training/signing autographs. XD
I'd rather expect secret or to themselves unknown crushes on each other, one who keeps it secret due her alter ego and the knowledge that her friend would have to arrest her if she finds the truth out. The other likes to hang around Twi and be all over her but has the head too full of her awesome armor, her cool Wonderbolt career and all the screaming fans wanting her babies (lol) to notices Twi's feelings or even her own regarding a nerdy a bit unsocial girl/woman. <3

I wonder though how and when Twi and RD became friends. I kind of have the feeling that they might have meet in the orphanage if nobody takes Twi in and that they both wanted to become superheroes as children which now looks like only RD did so while Twi "only" became a libarian or a student or whatever her disguise is. You know, play the childhood trope and the childhood promise trope. xD
