Description “I am a siren, and for my adoration of mankind, have been caught in fishing nets one time too many. And in those fishing nets I have learned too many unfavorable things about human intentions and the lack of trust and goodwill; I'm not going to allow myself to be caught, anymore. Sirens do well at singing the sirens' song and dragging vile people to their deaths, and
for good reason!” - C. JoyBell C.

[First off, this is not at all my concept--I was utterly inspired by a shot of karrah.kobus photography's (check out its amazingness here: [link] ) and wanted to see if I could re-create something similar. I was so impressed by the fact that she and her model only did one take that I wanted to give it a whirl, and this was the result. One thing I learned: the continuous shutter mode on Scott's camera (which is what I'm borrowing while Ludo is sick...) isn't as fast as I'd hoped. I would've liked to have caught her down just a *bit* further, but I got this one and the one *right* before she hit the water.

ANYWAY, Erin! She's amazing. Amazing, I say! I love working with her, not only because she is willing to do the most uncomfortable of things, like this, but also because she's just a fantastic person. I'm exhausted and rambling now. The end.]

I like yours better than the original concept! So dreamlike. A mixing of the surreal and reality.
