Description
The next Arkarinian Pokemon is here! This funky lil dude is the reason I made the Light type: I had this idea for a prism-based Eeveelution with glass ears, so I made a whole type to allow for it. So behold: Prismeon, the Refraction Pokemon!

Rainbows are formed when light shines through its ears. An ancient Arxa legend tells of a Prismeon that brought color to the world.
Name origin: prism combined with the -eon suffix common to Eevee’s evolutions

Design Notes:
-My original idea for this Pokemon was a lot spikier! I had planned for it to be inspired by Marta Klonowska’s works , but in order for that to work I would have had to either give it a lot of tiny little spikes (which would probably be too complicated for a Pokemon design, especially an Eeveelution) or simplify it a lot (which would run the risk of looking too much like Jolteon). Instead, I ended up going with a more Egyptian theme after realizing the ears resemble those of the Set animal (sha) ; given that the Arkarino region is based heavily on my own childhood, and I was really into ancient Egypt as a kid, I figured it would be a reasonable direction to take.
-The markings on its head and legs are meant to vaguely resemble Umbreon’s rings; although Umbreon’s canon counterpart is Espeon, I figured a Light-type Eeveelution should have some similar traits to the canon Dark-type one.
-Its ears and tail are transparent and form rainbows when light shines through them!
