Description
two old truss bridges located in Old Monroe Missouri (Lincoln county) cross the Cuivre River. The bridge on the left is a rail bridge that the BNSF railroad still does pretty heavy traffic on with a lot of coal trains, I am not sure how old it is. The bridge on the right is open to only single lane auto traffic and was built in 1930.Related content

Great shot, that dirt road leads to the area where I duck hunt. It also is where my family had some river clubhouses back in the 50's and 60's.

I have only been there once, and it was like oh God, 8 or 9 years ago.. and we were there for two days.. not nearly long enough.. We thought about moving down there, but I am too close to my family to leave Aberdeen.. So what the heck are first fridays?

It's a good time, thats what it is! It's the first friday of every month in the Crossroads district (where all the galleries and stuff are) It's kind of a street festival with art, food,wine, music and stuff like that. I always enjoyed it the few times I got to go!
