I'm exhausted...I know the road to success isn't a race. Sometimes I wonder if I've chosen the right path.
Lately, doubts filled my head.
What if I never get there? Then trepidation kicks in.
think I've been confined to my room, chained to my desk for too long. Overworked but I'm financially stressed still. (I worked half as hard with Snailogy, had more free time & got paid more lol...Nightmare Factory, the irony in the title. The shiet you're willing to do for love.)
I didn't know the road to success was such a lonely journey. Sure, I connect with people world wide.
At the end of the night,
I sleep alone. Hang out with no one.
Ok, I lied, I sleep next to the Kreyul doll....not sure what's sadder?

While look through your work the other night I finally managed to find Nightmare Factory on webtoons and read through it- I LOVE IT BY THE WAY~!! Boy is this familiar. I'm a college student, spending more money on school than what should be tolerated. I don't sleep, don't have a REAL job (just part-time crap) and the void seems to be endless. Doubts are a natural part of an artist's life. And they really suck.
You're so incredibly brave, you know? You take chances by putting your art out there. You save your fans lives. You sacrifice more for your art than anyone I've ever met/known/heard of.
You've touched so many people's hearts and changed lives. Success is only a small part of being a great artist. Its the lives we touch, the creations we make, the hard work and the emotions (dear GOD all the emotions). We pour our literal souls into every sketch, every painting.
Our art is part of us. And yeah, it's great when we're successful and known for it. An artist's life can be lonely, yes, but you aren't really alone. You have your fans, your family, your characters. It feels like you're alone, but so many people care. As hard as it is to do sometimes, remember that, and realize just how important you are. c:
I know for a fact that I might not be where I am if I hadn't found Snailogy. And Nightmare Factory inspires me to delve into my imagination and pull at the deep, dark strings. Your art helps me, too. You're honestly one of my biggest heroes.
So don't beat yourself up too much, okay? Life's tough, and it sucks a lot. But its a miraculous thing, to be alive, and to be an artist makes life all that more exciting. We create worlds, people and places so wildly out of the ordinary. In a way, I think us artists all have a bit of magic in us.

The quiet and serenity of death has always been very alluring.
Life is messy, loud, full of pain and problems but thoes moments that make it worth while seem to tether people to life.

I know how it feels to be so close and drawn in by him. Life is awful at times but the little moments, like getting a package in the mail, or smelling fabric softener, keep me going. I'm sorry you have to deal with such thoughts and I know there isn't much I can do but say, it does get better and I hope it gets better soon
