Description
Hi! Here's another entry to my pokedex! Also fun fact about myself, totodile was the very first pokemon I ever had and is more or less my favorite out of just about all pokemon.Totodile: Height:2'00" Weight 20.9 lbs.
Totodiles, for all intents and purposes, are basically small, blue, bipedal alligators; with the ability which basically allows them to be a biological water gun.
The small fins are for the most part useless at this stage of the totodile's life; except for the larger one on the tail which works similarly to a mosasaurs tail fluke, which helps them attain higher speeds underwater. The bite force of a totodile is, as expected, quite powerful for it's size
which can cause some misunderstandings occur; for example, when a totodile which doesn't quite grasp how strong they are, attempts to playfully bite their trainer and accidentally takes a chunk out of them. These incidents have given totodiles the unfortunate reputation for being highly aggressive
when for the most part, though they love to play fight and as carnivores they do enjoy hunting, just like other carnivorous pokemon, they can form exceedingly strong bonds with others through proper training.
Croconaw: Height 3'07" Weight: 55.1 lbs.
Croconaws are the awkward teen stage of the totodile's life cycle, though unlike most creatures awkward stage, they grow outward first instead of upward.
What this means is that they grow most of their musculature first, before gaining the overall size of an adult feraligatr, giving the croconaws their odd appearance.
Due to their odd growth cycle, croconaws are exceedingly clumsy, which has made croconaws develop a more sit and wait tactic of hunting, closer to the average alligator or crocodile. Another odd adaption for this stage is that their teeth have grown to be more curved and harder to remove, meaning that when they manage to actually grab onto a prey item, the prey (if it survives the sheer force of the bite) will have an exceedingly hard time escaping. The fins have grown to a size where they are now usable in communication in this stage as well, meaning that croconaws will open and close these bright red fins slower or faster to attempt to get an idea across; in the wild this is used whit other croconaws, though in captivity a trainer could see their croconaw wildly using their fins to try to communicate with them. A few trainers have actually managed to make a rudimentary form of sign language with their croconaws! However, this doesn't mean that the trainers decoded what the fins closing and opening means, more so that they taught the croconaw to open and close their fins a certain speed or number of times for certain words.
Feraligatr: Height: 7'07" Weight:195.8 lbs.
Feraligtrs are quite adept fighters, utilizing their large armored arms as well as their devastating jaws to quickly and brutally decimate prey and foe alike.
As one would expect a giant bright blue and red bipedal alligator is quite intimidating, though feraligatrs excel at intimidation by doing mock charges towards foes, at what most is an unexpectedly high speed. Feraligatrs mock charge when they would rather not waste the energy fighting the target of their charge. Feraligatrs can make their charges even more intimidating by quickly rattling their fins which make an audible tsktsktsk sound, while doing so they can also make a quite loud thunk sound by snapping their massive jaws close, as well being able to make a deep rumbling sound deep in their throat.
