lol, takes me back to my college mechanics class and how the escapement mechanism in medieval clocks changed the world. now, if i would have paid more attention in class and less time in the pub....

Well put Sir, but hindsight is such a wonderful tool and surprised that nobody has tried to reverse the process
I wonder where we would all be today if we had all paid more attention in class and less time in the pub during those informative years.... it makes you wonder

It is a very clever bit of engineering and when it gets close to the hour you cannot move for people. On the hour, every hour, trap doors open and a procession of models appear from the clock depicting Christ and the Twelve Apostles. All sorts of things happen with it, great to watch.

Well, if you ever get the chance go see it. You get the procession of Christ and the Twelve Apostles every hour, on the hour. Magic to watch.
