So I decided to go outside today and get a little fresh air and maybe do some chalk doodles. 2 1/2 hours later, I'm covered in horrible sunburns, but also, I finished this. My sister wanted me to add the trolls, but yeah.Characters ==> Homestuck [link]

Oh man, you'd need three more blocks of sidewalk to draw the trolls on. You could sort them by their qualities (carnal, fixed mutable) or use four blocks and sort them by element! /astrologynerd
But really, this is epic. You know how to use that chalk. Have you ever thought about using more traditional media, like art chalk or pastels? You're really good at blending the colors and doing effects with them, I think.

I actually used chalk pastels for this. Regular chalk just doesn't have the bright and smooth colors that I like.

Jegus Christ that's amazing. I was looking though the stack of HomeStuck Fans submissions, and just kind of scanned over it the first time, then clicked to the next page, belatedly thinking "Oh My Gosh, was the done in chalk?"

It should stick around for a pretty long time. The last time I used this chalk, the picture stayed for about 5 months (very faded, but still).

It's actually chalk pastels. They are very nice, even the cheap crappy student packs I use.
