Yeah.... ehem.... I haven't really been drawing much lately, dunno what's up with that, but yeah, I've been obsessed with Skyrim ever since I bought it in November or December or whenever it was. And I've been quite fond of the Dragon Language, so I've tried to learn some of it. Wiiii.... x3If you haven't played Skyrim, you probably wont get any of this xD

I've actually been attempting to learn the dragon language and become relatively fluent in it. This is pretty neat! I love how it sort of resembles the old summarian script. I've not been able to keep my hands off the game yet.

It's not too difficult to learn. I've discovered there's a few ways to go about learning it, which is absolutely cool. Learning the song was like the hardest part! You can barely hear the lyrics half the time.
The old summarian script was really interesting to me. Even though the langauge is a dead language, I feel like it's one of the most fascinating due to the fact that it was one of the first languages capable of being written. I loved learning about it, but didn't have much time to actually study it, so I have a really broken knowledge of what it actually is.

Well, yeah, I don't really have any problem learning new languages, and loads of the words and sounds are similar to Norwegian, especially since they've based the Nords on Norway/Scandinavia xD Like tiid is time right, it's just tid in Norwegian xD So well, yeah, I think there's loads of people who have written down the lyrics for the theme song, so it shouldn't be too hard to find actually

I'd like to learn a ton of languages, though. The dragon language, American Sign Language, Spanish, etc. Anything I can pretty much access at low cost. XD. I'm fascinated by linguistics and language in general. Also, if you look at the true pronunciation of tiid, you'll find out it is quite literally the same pronunciation. Haha! Just thought I'd mention that. Though the spoken dragon language has many variants for every word. Very hard to keep up with sometimes.

I know what it means, but because of the limitations on the Dragon's language, it could have a double meaning. Peace would be good, Fire would be dragon's breath (While flying) Sky would be weather. It could be a greeting like that.

Haha, I see, sorry for my narrow thinking x3 but yes, I guess you could do it like that, it's a good way of thinking, I've had some trouble making good sentences with the dragon language because of the lack of words, I've always tried to find other words in the dragon language that could mean the same or something similar, but by just translating them differently you've opened up a new line of translating

Yeah, I took notes in this alphabet the other day in biology, and I kept running into words like "selection" and "chemistry." And what are you supposed to substitute when it's a soft C like in "ice"?

I am trying to learn more of the dragon language and this has been very helpful; I found a font that lets you type in normal letters but it appears on the screen in dragon script, but it doesn't have any of the sounds like ah ir and ei so this has been a huge help. Thank you!

Oh, the one I downloaded you get the ah and ei and ii and stuff, it's just located in the numbers on the keyboard instead x3 (just saying in case we downloaded the same file ;D) Glad it helped tho

Does anyone know why there isn't a C in the dragon language? And since there isn't, how do you spell words with a C in them?

Dragon language uses a K in place of C. The language is also its OWN language -- you don't just write English words using Dragon script and say "lol look I can speak Dragon."

Well, as far as I know there aren't any words in the Dragon Language that has a C in it, so they don't need any C's x3 Some of the other letters probably have the same sound as C so no problem ;D
