You did not like watching Tales from the Crypt at night either??? Water bed frames go all the way to the floor, nothing can get under there.
But those frames usually have storage drawers in them, so something sinister could possibly hide in there!!!!!

My only issue with things that go bump in the night was during and after reading "Salem's Lot" by Stephen King. It was a couple of months before I'm would walk through a dark room!!!! Oh, here is one for you, we lived in a haunted house for 6 months while we were having a house built. It was a mischievous spirit, even in the way it let us know it was there. Something would disappear, a knife or some other utensil, we would hunt for it and if we did not find it, we would mention that we would really like to have it back and we would go out for a while. When we returned the mentioned item would be on the kitchen counter!!! How's that for spooky??? When we moved out and were locking the house up, we held the door open, said "Thank you!!!!" and locked the door. This is real, my Better Half would gladly back me up. Interesting experience!!!
