Description
Ok, this is a compilation on some notes I have taken over the past 5 years or so. This is a tiny snippit of that information. I have reams and reams of information to go through and organize. I want to publish a book on my ideas.no one has ever publish an anatomy book based primarily on women. Sure there have been "how to draw Comic Females" and "how to draw Anime Females" But never a "How to draw female anatomy" book.
So tell me if you think these patterns are useful. Let me know if the help you draw females better.

Until I'm good enough to not have to use it.

Will you post up more of these? I'm currently trying to get better at drawing females.
Every anatomy book I look into has either too much detail or doesn't focus enough on the overall shapes and patterns.
This was what I'm looking for

Snigom In reply to sphike [2008-01-20 17:44:50 +0000 UTC]
I might do that as I get nearer to finishing the book where these patterns are going to go. I am glad you feel the way that you do because that was exactly how I felt Its what prompted me to do these.
It would help if I knew specifically what you are looking for. Currently I have planned to show the various differences and shapes of Hips, breasts, and Bodies. Also, I plan for both male and female a from young to old scale and explanations on the changes. I will also have fat and skinny.

I'm looking to be able to create a variety of different poses from different points of view.
I find drawing the entire body the most difficult to do, especially when there's difficult poses and perspectives involved. So, some material or tips that would help me improve on this would be great.
I think ~Lalalae 's gallery is a great example, although they're plastic models (Nevermind the dirty stuff).

LOL! Well lets hope my fate won't be that of Jesus Its not impossible....as I am preparing a book using these patterns this May. My hope is one day I will sell it to a publishing company and that it may one day be required reading in University Life-Drawing or Art classes
Well....one day, right?

I hope for you that there will be a book with skills like yours, why not? Writing is fun, but it takes a lot of energy from me, so I only write when I have to, like school projects and similar
And there can never be enough books about art, can it? Good luck

You know...its so weird I wish I could see my art the way you guys do . Writing is going to be easy...organizing the book so that it has all the data I want to share in an easy to follow manner....that's going to be tough. I am still having a hard time right now figuring out the order I want things....

He he, if I was a 65 years old artist with a life long experience of art I would see things that could have been done better.. Always! Luckily (for most people) I'm not I enjoy to find room for improvement wherever I go, that's why my gallery is so empty
and of course, I'm waiting to come home to my tablet and try it. It arrived today

Funny you should mention that. It was from these tuts that I got a few jobs doing Fashion Templates I even had to do pregnant models
It was prehaps the weirdest thing I have ever had to draw.
You are most welcome, and it pleases me that these tuts have helped so much
