Love them Disney weasels. And I'm always delighted with good Basil artwork. We need more! "The Great Mouse Detective" is sorely underrated. It's a crime, really. Pun intended.

Wow I love Basil's "Don't test me!" look. He will beat the information out of you if all else fails. I read somewhere he knows how to box. Anyway I also like the comic book feel of the picture. What medium did you use? It looks wonderful and rough. The line art itself is well constructed. I can really see the scene unfolding. Amazing job!

Thank you, it's nice of you to say so. As for medium, it is simply a sketch using coloring pencils and a 5B drawing pencil for the lines.

You're welcome. Coloring pencils? Hmm I thought they were crayons because they both seem to have that same graininess. Either way, still fantastic.

What did the weasel say to set Basil off like that? XD

the "hoodlum" looks quite a bit like one of the weasles from Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

This is definitely the Disney style of drawing weasels, as they look in said film, as well as 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' and 'Mickey's Christmas Carol.'

This is absolutely fantastic! It's got a strong comic book feel to it as if I'd be wanting to see what happens next in the upcoming panel. Not only that, the pencil coloring is faded which, again, reminds me of a comic page too. I adore the artwork; Basil looks a lot like his movie self yet both look very Disneyesque to begin with. The ruffian our hero is attacking looks like one of the weasels from Mr. Winky's gang from "The Wind in the Willows" sequence of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. The concept itself is hilarious. I can picture the detective getting peeved with someone whom refuses to answer his questions. Oh, and like I've told many artists, I
seeing pictures of Basil angry!
Excellent work!
