"Open the door... and revisit that old place."A redraw of one of my favourite pictures~ [link] for the "Draw this again" contest!
Almost as if reality was answering the call, a slew of bad things just kept happening so I had plenty of appreciation for the whole "let's escape from reality!!" concept.
Well, that's reality for you!
Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. xD
There are a few problems here and there that bug me, but I feel that this is the best I can currently manage. xD
Towards the end, I was just getting so so tired - I really didn't want to draw that biplane.
But when I was colouring over the sketch of the whale, it was almost like the biplane was chasing after it, so I ended up keeping it. sob.
Well, I hope it looks worth the effort, it certainly took enough time!!

Hey, I created to personally thank you for this. I've seen this before and fell in love, and recently, I've decided to get my first tattoo. And what better than something with meaning?
