First for all, I would not make background so long, I would crop it if I was you. As well as would work with higher levels (above the viewable part of artwork) and a bit - with lower levels.
Second, I would work with eyes. They look like the cat is wearing glasses, so I would make them a bit more realistic if I was you. But colors and effects are good, as well as shapes.
Third, I would work on fur. Lines, shades and such - as well as shapes, are good. But since you have drawn a cat, I would suggest ti make more lines to show its fur more besides effects on its body.
