Haven't gotten around to watching the new season yet but I absolutely adored the 2001 anime adaptation, plus the manga!*Dammit they're all too cute
Anyways tried to draw a chibi with a simpler pose so I could try improve my anatomy, though I think the arms are still a bit too long...
Also I swear I keep switching how I do my chibi feet, from a more realistic style to just... stubs I guess. Which one do you guys think looks better?

I really love how you drew the character. She's so cute. The lighting and shadowing are very nicely settled on her. Lineart is also very pleasant to eyes and so smooth. Her eyes are like decoration because of those stunning eyelashes and iris. Great job on her expression which is very adorable and kind. If you take a closer look then you can see that her arms are just tiny bit too long but it's not a huge problem. In my opinion it would look a bit better if her hands were drawn in less realistic style because they kinda stand out of the rest of the character. The background look a bit plain but i understand that the character was supposed to be the one thing to catch a viewer's eye. I think it would look better if youd add much more small raindrops falling all perperdiculary or horizontally (though leaving those bigger ones would be ok too). All in all great job and keep it up😊

the highlights of this piece / what i love about it
:. this chibi piece is certainly adorable!
:. i love the background composition as well! it's really adorably matched together with the center object.
:. the hair is really flowly and amazingly drawn~

some parts that need improvement
:.looking at this chibi's right hand its fingers seemed to spread out in an awkward position

:. i have some issues with the red used to shade the skin, it seems a bit overdone and the intensity makes it seem like she has a fever
> honestly, to solve this issue, i would just suggest adjusting the opacity of that layer.
:. this is more of a suggestion than an improvement, but to keep up with consistency, i would say maybe spread the lighting on her hair to her clothes as well? i just feel like that would give this piece more of a glow-up. but honestly, that's just my own personal opinion.

I'm guessing you mean their left hand when you're talking about the chibi's right hand (please tell me if I'm wrong), but I can still tell what you mean by how it seems a little awkward. It looks a little stiff and doesn't really match the other hand (= w =' ).
Also I have a tendency to shade with colours close to red when it comes to my skin, but I see what you mean when you say to tone it down a little. A lot of the time the skin tends to look more saturated in comparison due to the way I shade it, but perhaps trying to keep the shading a bit less desaturated might help!
