An alternative title for this might be "Don Karnage's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day". Starting with "Good Morning!" (www.deviantart.com/socksthemut… ) it tells the tale of Kit getting his first flying lesson -- which ends in a literal crash and burn. I imagine their hides were saved by the captain grabbing the controls just in the nick of time. No one is gonna save that kid from Karnage, though. I swear I'll do a follow up to this someday, once I figure out a suitable (and wonderfully rrrotten) punishment for our reckless reptile.

Feel free to laugh at my pathetic attempt at a plane (in my defense it is supposed to be pretty banged up after smashing into a rock and going kablooey) and smoke effects. The expressions, however, were insanely fun and I'm pretty happy with that part. I might ink/color the "first panel" (see here: www.deviantart.com/socksthemut… ) to this at some point too. I had originally planned to put them together as a comic of sorts but I got caught up with the details on this one and wanted to share it first.
