As a descendant of their culture, I am very pleased to see a Byzantine contribution to the Mayternity thing. Good job covering her hair, Orthodox Christian women usually cover their hair. I know we don't do it anymore in the US because people look at us weird but a few women at my church still do. I like how you used the mosaic in the background to make the little belly spark and gave her a halo.
Also, as far as pregnant art goes, this is really good. Her breasts seem so heavy and her belly is big but not too big. Lovely details on her circlet and clothing.

After my degrees in Chinese history, I consider my second expertise to be Ottoman history (an extension of Byzantine history), and Byzantine history proper, so I am a huge fan of anything Byzantine.
