Got tired/"bored" of doing the "easy" (for me/my "level" of..."artistic talent," if you will) drawings and doing color work, so I went back to my "roots" I guess you can say.Did this yesterday, which, actually, wasn't all that easy to do, now that I think on it. Ended up going through four drafts before finally getting it right (with pose ref from official Shrek artwork).
Ah, well. LoL

(sorry for the late reply -- busy holidays =/ ) thanks so much for that! i was rather surprised, myself, at how well it'd come out, it being more on the realistic art side, which i haven't done a lot of in a while ^_^'

Thanx ^_^ Just regular, boring old pencil, and then one of my old black marking pens. I've used up all of my "pro" art supplies ages ago and never bothered to re-stock since I'd been so busy and hadn't drawn much until recently. *Shrugs*

This is pretty cool, especially with the bluish monochromatic scheme. Love this color scheme.

Don't see where you see blue, but okie doke. I'd whitened the background after I'd scanned it, but didn't touch the actual drawing, so that's why it's "darker." That would be my sketchpad paper's fault.
