"Legacy tells the story of Faria Phiraco, a seventeen year-old fox and heir to the throne of city state Xayall. She is a ‘resonator’, one who can manipulate elements using crystals from the moon. When the Senate sends news of an ancient discovery from the lost city of Nazreal, her life spirals into conflict. With her father the Emperor missing, Xayall is besieged by a malicious race of dragons known as the Dhraka, intent on tearing Nazreal's secrets from under her.

Bringing together guardians to assist her, Faria has to learn to trust in her own strength if she ever hopes to find her father and reveal the mysteries of the ruined city while a brutal war unfolds around her. Faced with her family’s dark legacy at the heart of an ancient cataclysm and the past’s deadly shadows snapping at her heels, time is running out…"
